Very cool Crown button. It looks like it is in great condition. If you find out what it is let us know. If you want to send me an individual picture of it, I will send it to the lady that did the button presentation and see if she can help. The size of the ball looks like it could be "grape shot" from a cannon. I haven't done any research on those.

I do want to seal it, but can I do anything to clean it to reveal any raised portion on the button. I used water and a toothbrush but nothing is really showing up.

Found this button in the same field as a very normal flat button. However, this one is thicker. I believe it has some sort of raised print/picture on it but would welcome advise on how to clean it carefully, so I don't ruin it completely. Also, if I shouldn't try cleaning it let me know. All options will be considered. I have little experience in this area.
