My name is Wil, and I first started metal detecting on March 11th, 2020. I was watching a YouTube video on detecting and I was hooked. I had already collected coins 4 years prior, which may be what helped ignite the passion. I love history, and get out metal detecting any time I can, though I usually just hammer my own house. The best part of detecting for me is when I am out hunting with someone else, and they pull out their first silver or large cent, it just puts a HUGE smile on my face!
